crane Hi6s msd box with GM 4 pin module

I just did this mod, the crane Hi6s msd box with GM HEI 4 pin module ignition.
My system is basically the team rush but my duuraspark module was crapping out so i swapped in a 4 pin thats how that came about.
I had bought the HI6s to go with the duraspark originally.
In the instructions crane does not recommended the 4 pin module with any explanation why.
I went ahead and wired it in any way and now i have msd, i didnt notice a big change i guess i can slam on the gas harder and it responds better to that
1 big difference is the temperature of the module, its not hot anymore, i guess just being a trigger for the MSD box is a lot easyer than having to fire a coil.
I scowered the net and couldnt find any info about running the HI6S with GM 4 pin module, any body know why the 4 pin is not used to trigger MSD?
