I'm get'n 16 mpg. :eek:
I would like to have the power of that 4.0.........:notworthy:

So I am thinking most like an engine speed of 2000-2500 for highway travel. just under the peak torque of a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l .
 
Closer to 2500rpm seems to work very well for a carb'd AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l 's, hi-way speed.
