Flat fenders, JK aftermarket bumber fanned to fit my CJ (that was a pain!).
LED dime flashers in the tube ends. Whiskey bottle coolant overflow on the bumber. New hood latches tapped into the flat fenders.

And tonight it happened......
Guy left turned right into my wheel, blew the hub clean off and ripped the wheel open trashing a brand new tire.

Put me on two wheels.

Limped home but it's dragging it's butt a bit. Rear brake or bent axle tube is my guess. Could be the outer bearing.

Won't be able to find those rims again....

Very sad about that.

Wow sorry to hear about the accident. Always some knucklehead out there on the road. During the day I have started riding with my bright lights on because of people pulling out in front of me or turning in front of me.

Well, shop pulled the rear chromoly axle today, it's bent.

Good news! Insurance is paying the full ticket for the repairs.
New tire, new axle, seals and bearings right across, wheel shop insists they can weld and machine the wheel like new, new hub cover, new speedo cable (snapped from the impact), and a muffler hangar (same).

Back on the road soon!

I've been searching for years for one more of these wheels all over the place and can't find one. Originally from Wayne's Wheels in California. Discontinued a decade ago.
