'81 CJ7 4 cyl. S4, d300 soon to be amc360 t18 D300. Restoration.

'08 JK 4" lift, 35" and on and on.
Well I put 78 Monte Carlo calipers with a CJ7 front rotors. Made the brackets that bolt to the bearing retainer 5/16" plate.

The rear needs a proportioning valve.

I used a stock disc/drum master cylinder. No problem. IMO you don't need a booster.

I keep asking why did I wait so long?

:)Keep in mind brake systems are designed and not thrown together.........total pressure along with total volume and proper pedal ratios are all part of the equation.

I sure do appreciate the quick and detailed response. Especially your last line. I needed to decide on a direction and just go. Tore out the front lines and MC tonight and ordered the power lines from classic. I'll seek out a power disc/disc MC and see how good the power booster looks after some clean up. Probably will have more questions. Just decided that I want the best braking power I can get.
