The sky is clear and the wind is mild but it is 24 degrees and going to 16 later tonight, that’s a cold night in Texas. Except maybe for Amarillo, it’s just “brisk” in Amarillo.

I saw a article in the paper years ago that had a beautiful snowscape with a old barn & fence. It read "Just a little reminder that the Texas Panhandle is closer to Colorado than the balmy Gulf coast."
