Driving a 77 Jeep 903 Miles- I may be a Dummy

Just in case you don't like that grill and square head lights,

The military looking 715 grill with round headlight holes is still under that aluminum grill facing.

Some CJ headlight buckets and trim rings gets you round headlights,
And a Gladiator grill center section covers up the radiator ugly.
Looks pretty cool that way.

I'm driving an '86 GW with that same treatment, only with 4 doors (needed room for tools, gun range , ect.)
Just took the back seat out, and used a slide in tray for my tools.
If I can't get to them from the sides, I can open the back and slide the entire works out onto the tail gate.

I wanted some extra wheel base for towing a trailer with the little Jeep on it also, and this has worked out fine.

Looks pretty good, nice bodytstyle..if my cj project starts to bum me out do to cost and repairs..Im going to start looking at cherokees next as seems like every 3rd vehicle that comes down my street is a mid 90's cherokee..they are cheap and plentiful and can look really good.

Wow I havent been active on here in a while. I still got this cherokee but school got in the way so its sitting under a tarp waiting for me to take the frame off and fuel inject the 360 and all the other stuff i want to do.

neat ride enjoy it hell if you were closer to baltimore i would have gone with you. its always nice to hav e a retirted police with you on many levels.
