Hey Guys,

Back again with a noobie question.

The build has been going well but as the Emergency Brake cable was installed it seems like we missed something.

I know I need a Emergency Brake Equalizer like this one from Quadratec but what bridges the gap I have in the pictures?

Thanks again for your help!

There are also two small cables for rear right and rear left. At least there are on my 84. Is that the cable that goes right after the equalizer?

my 83 has the 2 cables from each rear brake that is shown in your 2nd. pic. There is only one cable from the cab that has the equalizer on the end that hooks to the other 2.
Are you sure you have the correct single cable?

I see the pic better now. I just replaced my front cable last month and it went all the way from the pedal to the equalizer where the two rear cables attach. That is it. Not too many parts. It does appear that the front cable in your picture is too short.

Looks to me like you've got the wrong front cable. Or you have an excess of cable hanging out of the front of the sheath. Can you pull the inner cable back through the sheath?
