Looks like it might be bent; but I kindof feel like mine looked like that on my AMC 304 .
Maybe compare both sides? Or get an anglefinder and put it on top of the air cleaner...or lay a straightedge across the valve covers and put it there. Or just find two common spots on either side of the head and measure to the ground.
