Fab EGR Tube for header or go back to 258 head & manifold?
Are you running through the CT switch and is the engine hot?:cool:
 
How much vacuum? If you can press the EGR diaphragm and get a responce I would think it would respond to a vacuum change as well, if in fact you had a signal from the ct switch.:confused:
