1983 cj7 , six cylinders , 5 speed , 2.5 inch skyjacker suspension lift , 2 inch body , 35 x 12.50 x 15's ,one piece axles , just bought this cj after PO stored for the past 25 yrs ,
I just found a factory center console for my cj. It seems to mount real close to the Transfer Case lever. Does anyone have any pictures or thoughts on this. I see the bottom of the console is made to fit the Transmission tunnel shape
 
Here are some pics from my 84. It is close, but both shifters have plenty of room to move freely...

Thanks for the pictures Bullseye , is the Transfer Case lever in 2 or 4 in the picture. My console seems to be closer. Is it because you have carpet. I will post some pictures soon.
 
Actually I lied. Maybe this one will be better. You can just barely make out the edge of the console.
