Whow, now that's a writeup and the pictures are worth a thousand words. ....

To me ..... unfortunately most of those words were ..."THANK GOD MY JEEP COOLING SYSTEM WORKS IN IT'S STOCK FORM." All those wires and boxes scare me to death.

If you keep your OEM cooling system maintained(flush/rod-out) the stock system works very well.
Mine has, in the desert heat for the last 22+ years.

I'm hip LG, my old Steppenwolf CJ was bone stock (engine compartment wise) and despite being stationed in Barstow at the time it never overheated.



'BB' was another story, despite comprehensive diagnosis and many attempts at getting the cooling system under control I went with the system I posted above. I wouldn't warrant these steps if one's cooling system is doing the job but mine wasn't up to snuff. One element that is nice over stock is with the three way switch I can shut off the fans when fording, this'll keep the fans blades from propelling into the radiator core in extreme circumstances.
