fuel filler issues.
Have not been able to add fuel to the 1980 CJ7 ,wont even put in a gallon? I've had this jeep for 5 years and only use the gas station down the block. It's never had an issue and I've never had a slow fill or had to adjust the pump handle.
Did a look around and did not find any kinked or collapsed hoses.
Pulled the filler neck and cleaned it up, it was pretty clean and all seems to be working fine. Filler and vent hose are ok.
Replaced the Charcoal Canister. Before I installed I blew out the line to the rollover and liquid check valve. Sprayed som compressed air and it blew into the tank.
Pulled the rollover valve and deleted just for now. Went to see if I could fill the tank and still it just pours out.

Any Ideas? Going to pull the lucid check valve tomorrow but I just feel like thats not it.
Can filler necks go bad? its all stock.

Thanks

If nothing on the fill side is kinked or blocked, I would suspect vent. Have you tried a different station? How about filling with a gas can?

Any chance the tank is full and the gauge isn't working correctly?

I have had problems with certain pumps. I’ve had to pull the nozzle out about 1/2 way and pump the gas slowly, otherwise it acts like it’s full. Been some time since I’ve had that problem.

I was having similar issues when I had the factory charcoal canister and check/rollover valve hooked up. Try disconnecting those two vapor vent hoses completely, and see if you can now fill up at the gas pump.
