Been super busy the last month, I spent a lot of time preparing to test for a supervisor position at work and in the end I got the job and promoted over some candidates that had over 10 years more experience which was pretty satisfying. Plus I'll have more jeep money now. I bought my buddies TJ and immediately started stripping it down and selling parts. So far I have kept for myself new 33inch tires, warn winch, the entire suspension and sound system. I sold a bunch of parts to other jeep buddies for super cheap and I only have $500 of my own money into it now. Still have the axles, Transmission , tcase, frame and tub to get rid of so eventually I might have free parts.

I got a plasma cutter about a week ago. It's a Vipercut 30, a Chinese model but still works great. If you're on the fence about buying a plasma cutter I would highly recommend getting one these things are amazing and take hours worth of cutting with my angle grinder and turn it into minutes. I cut some circles for spring pads, they are a little shaky without a guide but cleaned up easily on the bench grinder. I cleaned up the rear axle and tacked the pads on then placed the axle and springs under the frame in the stock location. With the little 29in tires on, its 80inches tall so I'm definitely going to have to outboard the rear springs. Also the drive shaft is crazy short and the angle is insane which further justifies my need to stretch and add a bed. I used super stiff rachet straps to "4 link" the rear, not exactly the safest thing but its what I had.
