How far, cross country or less than 100 miles?

If you are referring to flat towing with the front hubs locked, It will keep the front axle seals lubricated.

Only going about AMC 150 miles to the ranch

If your refering to the front hubs as Torx aluded to my only concern would be needlessly spinning the drivetrain but I don't see anything harmfull other than basic wear and a small drop in mpg.
Some of us have rear hubs too and that is were my mind drifted to when I read your post, same thoughts would apply for a short haul.

Everything I've read says hubs locked and tc in neutral. I've done that a couple of times for runs of AMC 150 + miles one way to the desert and it works fine.

I unlock the fronts and drop the rear drive shaft. You get faster the more times you do it. Some just pull it off the axle end, tape the caps and tie wrap it up. Faster yet.

Now I have rear lockouts too. Much nicer

I should just buy a trailer oh then I need a pickup and . . .

Why wear out the ujoints?

10-4 !!

what about using tow dolly with rear tires on dolly and front tires on ground for towing 50 miles.
Should I go with with TC and Tran both in neutral?
front hubs Locked or unlocked?

thx
