Okay, both grn and grn/t are hot they share the ground. But, if wired backward you get same result.
Park light (bright)
ts light (dim)

Try swap and see if it solves your issue. Let me know.

PROBLEM FIXED.

Jdulmer had the answer.

PO had purchased replacement front parking/TS lights by Crown. The wires were crossed in the connector. I switched them and BAM! The parking light now uses the dimmer of the two elements and the TS uses the brighter. Before, the bright parking light made it appear that the dimmer TS wasn't working.

Of course, I had other problems which were fixed previously with redoing the grounds - always a good idea in these CJs!

Went thru this today on the fronrt parking/ turn signals. After running dedicated grounds to the lights I noticed the filaments on the bulbs were lighting different from side to side. One would light the tall filament and the other the shorter. Once I switch the wires in one of the replacement Omix ADA parking light everthings working properly. Must be a common Chinese junk problem.
