Fuel pump sealing???

I cannot get my new fuel pump to seal to the block. I use da gasket with Rtv no luck, I used a gasket with permatex gasket sealant no luck. It has a very slight ooze of oil when the engine gets warm. The old pump didn't leak, but for some reason I cannot get this new one to seal! what's everyone using?

Put a straight edge on the seal section of the pump and see how flat it is.
I had one that did the same as yours is, and it was anything BUT flat.

Along with what Lumpy stated, make sure the contact surfaces are clean as rtv does not seal well with oil on them.
