Question...
Has anyone you know ever died from camping? Why? Well, I was in a sporting goods store over the weekend and I couldn't believe all the stuff available for sanitizing water, air, food and probably more.
I'll admit, I was a Cub Scout, Weeblo, and a Boy Scout. I camped allot! We sanitized water, but geez! An air sanitizer? I never died from a little bit of dirt on my food. We dropped a hunk of chicken in the fire - you just wiped it off and made sure it went to someone else.
Last time I went camping in the Appalachian Mountains I only used iodine when the water looked pretty bad or if I was filling up a canteen. If it was coming from a stream that was flowing pretty good and I saw fish - good to sip!
Gosh! I even drink from a garden hose! You should see the look on peoples faces when I pull that one off!
So? Should you be dead? You ever drink from a hose?
