half top

My thinking was I have my speakers mounted just behind both seats. With that "curtain" I could hear my sterio. It would also keep the rain from blowing in from the back. I don't care about the bed cover

Not sure if with all of the flapping around of the fabric and plastic that you are going to be able to hear your stereo any better.

There's a guy on another forum that is making and selling a Safari style top so that the 'bikini style'-extends over the rear seats with an add-on bracket. I drive in the rain with my doors and bikini top and stay relatively dry with exception to the occasional blow-back that you speak of. I think with the extension it would keep this from happening as much but you'd still get it from the back-sides. Plus the back seat area stays a little better protected in the sun, etc. The top he's selling extends down the sides of the roll bar more and has a plastic insert to keep the top from flopping around in the wind some.

Might be an option. Hoping that I can get one this winter.

Actually those 'bikini' half tops with the straps don't flap very much at all (at least on my Kentrol bar) and with a modest amp and the front firing 6x9 speakers in my tool box it overcomes even the heaviest road noise from my KM2's
