I need some help. I have googled and researched my problem and am hoping to find someone on here that can help me. I have a 73 CJ5 with a AMC 304 V8 it has a Holley double pumper, not sure what size but it floods out when i am offroading only. I need to know if there is a way to adjust it so it wont happen. I cant afford a new carb i must adjust this one. Any help would be great.

:driving:

1 more thing i read something about a hose with holes or slits in the top bridging across to the vent on the front and rear bowls will help. Exactly what is this.

IMO no. They weren't made for offroad. You can try to lower the floats a bit, that might help a little. They also make a spring kit for the needles.

If you want to keep a carb on it and go offroading get a mc2100, it would be cheeper and better in the long run.

This is good to know ,I have 350 with 670 Holley d/p, bought that way.
