Got a new relay & 40 amp fuse for the holley system. Got home, not expecting it to work I plugged them both in. Turned the key and it primed! I asked if they had a 2nd but they only had the one.
I need a spare for the trail now..
In the morning I'm swapping the old fuse in then trying and then the same with the relay.
My $ is on the relay.. but yeah maybe I'll go trail riding 🤔 😆
Did it work before?
If you have not changed any wiring then...
If so the culperate is the pump.

Maybe. Mine was a ground problem out in Moab. And other problems.

Ok, pretty sure I figured it out #TIL #iykyk, so the oil pressure unit wire is off and the fuel injection will cut power If oil pressure drops below five psi, so with no power going to the sensor no power would go to the electric fuel pump..
My ??? Is, does anything attach to the top "of the one in the pic"? It's a purple wire btw.

Ok spade to the top of the oil unit. I don't like how easy that goes on/off (adds to upgrade list). Now to figure out the other wire...

Going to get the gopro out in the morning and climb under for the best view.. got the Blue Ridge Jeep Invasion this weekend.. gotta represent CJs, yo 🫡😆

I am not familiar with 1985. But it looks like a fusible link wire. Without doing some tracing you would need to look at the shop manual that we have for DOWNLOAD HERE.

I agree, online lol... Inline I meant. Unpluggable to change it. Which also means my toolbox needs a spare lol. Thanks CJ

Fantastic news! :chug:

Never hurts to have a backup. I keep 2 spare fuel pumps in my rig.
