How do I wire a coil on my 74 cj5 W/232?

Hi I just bought a 74 CJ5 with a 232in itt. the wiring was junk so I cut it all out. I have a push button start hooked up already. I just dont know how to wire the coil. Can anyone help? I have + hooked up to a toggle from fuse box now.

+ side to switched 12v on start (usually the I place one the solenoid). + side to stepped down voltage (ballast when running).

- side to dist and tach.

So I have a toggle going from fuse box to the + side of coil. Do I need to run 1 to the silinoid also?. Caveman language please.

Thanks. I have it set up and it fires. had to replace the points also. They were melted and not even touching. It still wont start. I think it could be a weak starter or just timing. When it fires the motor stops turning as if the starter sucks. but not sure yet. has anyone delt with this?
