The automakers keep fleets of cars specifically for members of the press to evaluate. Either we request the car from them, or they contact us and ask us to review a specific model. They also put on launch programs to introduce new models. Some automakers keep only the latest-and-greatest in their press fleets, while others have one of everything; we're Limited by what they have available, so if you're looking for a review of a specific car, try checking earlier years.
