How many miles have you done? My jeep has done well over 200,000 miles now and I just love driving. I made a journey from Tennessee to PA last March, and plan to take it again this March. My Jeep has treated me good. Tell me something about your mileage and where you have been.

I wish I could tell you millage... I have rebuilt the CJ too many times and changed the speedo many, many years ago! I know it had about 40,000 when I bought it and I really haven't put too many miles on it over the years - but the few I have put on have been HARD ones! :D

I bought mine about 2 years ago...and haven't even wore the Swampers 1/2 way out yet! It gets used in the dirt more than on-road right now, but it enjoys the occasional daily driver status :)

In the three years I've owned my CJ I've put a whopping 8,000 miles on her.

I only average about 1500 miles a year with mine. 1000 miles of that is off road or getting there, the rest is on the road on nice days when it's not broke.:)

Odo stopped working at 44k... about 25 years ago. I probably put about 8k a year on the CJ; since about '91, just in commuting... Can't even guess on the true mileage with misc trips, beer runs, 4-wheeling, etc in the equation. All I know is: no oil useage, no smoke, and 18 mpg on the hwy!:chug:

Got it yesterday. 79 and counting. My CJ5 ??? 17000 most being hard miles. :D

204,000+ miles on my 1997 Jeep TJ. Bought it brand new in August of '96 and have driven it from Miami to AZ and back, NC, CO, TN, TX. She's been up at 9,000+ feet in Flagstaff, AZ, at sea level in Big Cypress in FL, etc. Once she even did a 180 at 65mph due to black ice on I-40 heading West out of Flagstaff-I remember seeing the 18 wheelers bearing down as I continued in reverse, and then we went of the side into a 20 foot or more drop. Landed in heavy snow pointing almost straight up, backed up, powered through deep snow in the woods, back onto I-40 east...
