HH post this morning made me wonder what parts have made it into other CJs if any. If you want to play, list other vehicles parts used to mod your CJ.

My current build. When I order parts I'll have a vehicle list in my head ready when needed.

-76 frame (recent revelation!)
- 77 or 78 axles (6 bolt thick rotor and big brakes)
- wide ratio CJ T-18 so that's 77-79,
-Dana 20 -who knows
-Old Porsche seats for awhile

-80s Ford ignition stuff

To help pinpoint your CJ T-18 , 79 was the only year reverse was over and down.

Or it could be even earlier perhaps - I did a bunch of research when I was putting it in but have forgotten most of it now that it's there. I bought it along with a rebuilt 6 and a Dana 20 for $500 off a guy who didn't know what it was!!! He was putting a 460 in the Jeep frame to drag it - yikes

Knowing one day, I'd totally lose my mind.... I tried to keep it simple. It's either AMC or Ford. The real issue is there are various Ford parts that span from the late 70's to the mid-90's....

Mine is mostly stock so far, but I do have a Cadalac Transmission in it. Funny, it didn't ride like one when I got it!
