I have a 1979 CJ7 with leaf springs. The bottom of the body under the drivers seat sits at 25 1/4". Questions...
- How much lift is that?
- Can I run 35's on it?

Good question. Have you seen this thread? 100s of CJs with lift numbers and wheel and tire combinations.
Click the link below.

According to info in the thread, here's my info...
- 16" to hub
- 25.25" to top of mount
This works out to 3.75" of lift... 25.25 - 16 - 5.5 =3.75 This assumes standard lift is 5.5"

Now, with 3.75" of lift, would I be able to run 35" tires?

Thanks for the help!

Yea, 35s should work but you may get scrubbing on the tires on hard turns. It really depends on the wheel offsett.

It's a narrow track Jeep too so may require spacers.
Without the correct wheel offset or spacers you will rub at extreme turns.
I had a bit of rubbing on the inside for years but lived with it.
It is really what you wish to spend to make it clean or love with what you have.
