Hydraulic clutch conv. Problem

Hey guys, I got my novac hyd. Clutch conv. In the mail yesterday and tried installing it....yeah tried not succeeded so here is my issue. I cut the tab off the bell housing and went to install the bracket and slave cylinder but I don't clearance because of the headers has anyone else ran into this problem?

My buddy has a CJ7 with a 360 and headers and had the same exact issue with getting the hydraulic clutch to fit. He ended up converting from hydraulic to mechanical. Now it clears the headers fine. Other option would be to go with out of the frame headers.

Not surprising the 360 in my cj came with hedman headers on it and they were way to big and in the way of all the linkages. I bought some factory short style manifolds.

I have a 360 and Hedman headers in my 6 as well as a hydraulic clutch. I changed the position where the clutch pusrod attaches, simple and works fine. It's close and needs header wrap to keep the heat down but 2 years on and it's working fine.

I think I may have come up with a solution. Gave an old buddy of mine a call and he told me that the best option is to run the stock exhaust manifolds the ram horn style where the exhaust dumps out of the center not the back then have a shop run the exhaust.... What do ou guys think? And would anyone happen to have a pair laying around before I go scouting the Internet?
