I am New, look what i bought for 1k.

Not Sure exactly what i got for 1k but lookin at jeep prices i figured it was ok deal please feel free to give input it will be apreciated i will try and figure out pics soon...i was told its a 1969 CJ5 ...Dauntless Buick 225 V6 oddfire v6 with Dana 44 rear...Dana 30 front....front has detroit locker and rear has detroit lockrite..i know it has munci 4 speed Transmission with warn Overdrive and old school twin stick military Transfer Case . has 33X12.5 bfg mt's

Sound like you did for 1k! Pretty traditional mods and stock items. The locker on the front is great plus but can make turning damn difficult if the front end is on some solid ground. Great 4 speed and and over drive to boot!

Can't wait to see some pics.

There are several ways to upload pictures here.

1 - Use the Jeep-CJ Gallery and then click the 'Open' link in the 'Gallery Pics' section just below the 'Smiles' when you create a post. See this thread on how to make a gallery. -->> http://www.jeep-cj.com/forums/f16/how-do-i-make-my-gallery-category-348/

2 - Click on the 'Manage Attachments' button in the 'Attach Files' section under the 'Additional Options' section below the box where you type a reply or make a post.

Either way will work...

You can either create a gallery and click the gallery pics box at the right of the reply box, or you can go to a site like photobucket and upload and host there, then use the little button at the top of the reply box that looks like a mountain to add the pic. You will need to cut and paste the address of the pic from photobucket. If you can't do that, email to projectcrawler@aol.com and I can upload them for you. I think you have a great starting point and got a good deal. Looks like much of the vehicle is in good shape!

last year of the superbee and only year it was a charger body and not a coronet

BTW i sold it for 12k to a guy and "DUMDUM" wrecked it within 1 month...was doin 80 on freeway and thought it would be "COOL" to punch it and make it kick down....."note to self ...Kick Down at 80 mph with 650+ hp big block = loss of controll and disaster" ooh well got my money out of it... I should have known when i told him to be carefull with it because of the power and he told me "i know i have a 5.0 mustang" doh thus the DUMDUM

That sounds like a pretty good deal. What upgrades are you thinking about putting on it?
