ok so now this pos they call vista is pissing me off again. since i cant upload with my sd card i took some pics on my phone hooked it up and know it dont work :mad: when i go in device manager the phone and the sd card show up in there.

is there any way i could get vista off my computer and get windows 7?
 
Yes, you can buy a Windows 7 upgrade.
 
i downloaded regcure. so for it has found 123 problems with my computer. hhhhhmmmmmm :confused:
 
i got the phone to connect now. now how the heck do i upload the pics. ive never done it with a phone???
 
you should just be able to drag and drop from the sd card to the computer memory, the SD card shows up as a drive, just copy them to your pc

btw, have you updated Vista? I have never had any issues with mine, only reloaded the OS once, just so that i could create different drive on my laptop.

it say the memory stick is in but when i open it, it says you need to format the card so i try it and it says it cant format it. i did a google search on it and there is tons of people with the same problem but dont know how to fix it.

also how do you update vista. i have done all the updates that has been on it.
 
I'd say you need a new memory stick. The way to test that is to put that memory stick into another computer. You were saying you don't have another. Well, you must know a friend or someone that has a PC. Either put your stick into another PC or put another memory stick into your PC. Or better yet do both.
So this is a camera memory stick? Not a usb flash drive. Another option is to buy a card reader and put that into your PC. But of course that won't work if your memory card is just bad.
You need to do some testing. If you can't do any testing with another PC or memory stick then you will have to shotgun your problem by buying a new memory stick and if that doesn't work then buy a card reader.
 
in the control panel, go to Windows Update. You want to make sure that your security is up to date, and anything that might deal with drivers. What model is your memory stick that you are having issues with?
 
If I had my way I would go back to xp I have 7 and hate it hate it hate it:D

its a memory card. when i put it backin the camera i can click on it and veiw all 500 pictures that are on it.

its a sony memory stick pro duo 1gb.
 
I say get a card reader
They're about $12
 
do you have a cable to plug the whole device into the PC? see if that works instead of the card. that, or just go get you a card reader. There are pictures on there that we are waiting to see.

my camera has no way to plug in to the computer. im lost. i have new pics of the jeep i want to put on here but o well. just makes me mad we spent $1000 on this pos and after 2 years half the :dung: dont work.
 
ya this is why this thing pisses me off. :mad: its a lenovo and it was at the time one of the best computers out there.
