Germy did you replace the bushings? I think you just need poly bushings with those shackles.
See how the bushings are wider than the springs.

EDIT: I see you did replace the bushings but they should be as wide as the shackles even when they are not in the springs.

Morris may be refunding. They put it together and most likely put the wrong bushings in and left the sleeves out. I am reordering with another company. I'll update in a few days! Thanks all for your help!!

You are spot on busa. I needed larger bushings and sleeves also. Still waiting on warranty decision.

Warranty called and asked spring with and shackle width. Hopefully it will be refunded!

OK

The picture showed it all. The attached photos are Energy Suspension kit number. The spacers are 2.875" long .75 OD & .505 ID.

The bushings have a larger flange for the spring, 7/16". The Spring hangers are 3/16". Bushing OD is 1.5" that goes in the spring.

I don't think you've destroyed the shackles, but maybe the paint job.

ok, so out of curiosity, i ordered another set of shackles. Same brand, different color. the bushings seem bigger, but still seem very dainty. 73cj guessing that i should just keep the shackles and order energy bushings. Your thoughts?

The bushings have too much play as you see, but installed in the spring might spread them with a space in between. Did they come with a spacer?

Negative, no spacer.

What is the ID Of the bushings?

Are the frame bushings the same size as the spring bushings? (ID & OD)

1 1/8 long, 1 inch inner, 1 5/16 outer

Germy,
It looks as if you frist received a set of 75 and earlier bushings. The second set do look correct but you may still need spacers. Go to tractor supply and get some grade 8 washers for the 1/2" or 5/8" center bolts. You can take some of that bend out of the lower bent shackle arm with a piece of all thread with two nuts or threaded rod couplings in the center and open them up a bit. You may not have to re paint with this method be sure to alos use washers so you don't gaull the insides of the shackle .

Cool, thanks! The second set fits a lot better!
