Intake manifold fittings cj7 4.2

Looking for the water inlet firing for the air intake manifold for an 81 AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l . Anyone have a name part number or suggestion? Previous owner appears to have used a short piece of straight pipe and it’s leaking

Hmm your in Dallas and its really hot do you really want to run hot water thru your intake? When I had my AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l i bypassed the intake to keep the intake and carb cooler

try this link they show a 90 degree elbow from NAPA

I would think that colder places would benefit from that but not hot places.

My understanding is that the coolant running through helps,keep that manifold cooler than without water

And you would be correct.
Otherwise the intake soaks up a lot of heat from the exhaust system.
Run the coolant line.......

You think it runs cooler with coolant? You have a constant source of air from the radiator fan
