Thanks, but i think there's just too many design differences between the Jeeps here in Iraq and the indian Mahindra below. I'll ask around, but my bet is it's either made in Iran or Russia.
Probably those darn Russians trying to copy us :D
 
What type of axles, TC, etc. do you find under these things?

When I was in Bosnia, the four door crew cab small pickups by Toyota and others were very popular. We had a Jeep Cherokee assigned to our COL that had a diesel engine and a four speed. I got many opportunities to drive it. Loved that diesel engine in it. There were also some small trucks (and I mean really small) that were made in Russia. They had cardboard floorboards in them. I think the had two cylinder engines. Even saw a hay wagon being pulled down the highway by a self propelled tiller!
