Quadratech's descriptions are wrong for some of those springs. They list the CS014F as both heavy and light. Call ARB USA and ask them. I just did yesterday actually.

I also will be doing the YJ conversion on my 83 CJ7 and had keyed in on the rockey road pieces (minus the shocks) since they seem to be well engineered without the huge mark up. I'm pretty surprised they aren't more popular, especially the spring hangers. I know everyone love crabtree tool and die, but Rocky road's set front and rear totals to like $115 and includes bushings which are bigger OD for more isolation where crabtree's are like $210 and don't include bushings. I was also told that RR's front already relocates the hanger in the proper position for the conersion.

What are you impressions with the u bolt plates and hangers? Good quality and fitment? Is the bushing material polyurethane or rubber?

What did you decide about the wobble like a table with un-even legs? I was looking at my frame in the garage last night after finally getting it torn down and saw the same thing. If I place a level against the outside frame wall extending from the rear crossmember and up to the front mount on the rear springs it seems to have a bow in it. Measuring inside frame to inside frame I range from 32.5 to 32.125 as I work from just in front of the gas tank support to the rear cross member.

Awesome Father / Son project, did the same with my Dad in High School and it is still something we talk about today.

I took it to a frame shop to get evaluated.... basically they said that they can't make any adjustments until I have a rolling chassis... you would think it's easier to do it with a bare frame. He also told me to measure several points and compare them bilaterally. As long as everything fits under an inch then as they put it "falls in the margin of error for getting the frame to be square". Ours is at 3/4 of an inch everywhere...we will see.

norman i was doing a google search on cj to yj conversions and ran across this thread. i am currently looking to do this to my cj since i have rough country lift on it currently and it is exactly that lol rough. so my first question is what brand are the front shackle hangers? i know the rear are the rocky road heavy duty but i cant find heavy duty front ones on there site. my second and more important question is how do you like this lift?
