1977 cj7 Golden Eagle 304,automatic, Quadra-trac, full restoration just "finished." 4 inch superlift, lift shackles in the front, sitting on some KM2 Mud terrians
1999 tj 4 cylinder ax5 trans 3 inches lift 31s
1956 Dj3a all original except axles and engine, Hurricane 4 cyl. 4x4 conversion, 27,500 original miles 58 Jeep-A-Trench cj5 8000 miles.
is a Quadra-trac Transfer Case better than the other transfer cases that are hooked up to manual transmissions i am contemplating on leaving the quadra-trac in my jeep for the resto i have heard Quadra-trac is better then i heard the manual transfer cases are better im stuck between a rock and a hard place!!!! please help

I would not run Quadra trac I would dump the whole set up.
Run a wide trac Dana 30 front, T-18 , Dana 20 (or Scout 300) Scout Dana 44 rear and you got a good rig.
 
Quadra trac, while being a mile stone in 4x4 development is not a good system for a CJ, it is weak and can or cannot have a 4 low.
It is a great system for anyone wanting to go down snowy roads to a skislope
but offroad it lacks umph as it is basically an all wheel drive system not a 4x4 system
 
Yea what Baja said. Good on road but not so good off road. It really depends on how you are going to use your jeep.
 
It is a compromise at best.
