Is your CJ a boy or a girl?

Do you attach human characteristics to your Jeep? Do you kinda think that somewhere buried in that sheet metal and rubber that there's a conscious soul? Is your CJ a boy or a girl? Mine's a boy. I always refer to my CJ as "him" instead of "it" Like, "I need to go rotate his tires."

I usually just call mine "the jeep" but if I had to say boy or girl it would have to be a boy. It's always ready to go get beat up and never complains. It also always marks it's territory.

I think mine would be a "Old Girl " treat her with respect , a little appreciation , some gift buying , a little tweak and adjustmemt , and she will give you a whole lot of SATISFACTION in return.

although i want to paint the jeep an orange color, (chevy orange? or the jeep orange) and i'll be a beast, when it's done, i feel she'll be the ol girl, my wife thinks i should paint it pink, (hot electric pink) and then i guess it'll be a younger ol girl? but i don't know about driving a barbie mobile.

He's a boy. His name is Wilford. As much as inanimate objects are objects, I also feel that machinery and vehicles have their own personalities. Sure, there's a scientific explanation for every quirk and nuance, but it's also often times (when your Jeep is 40+ years old like mine) the only rig with that specific set/severity of issues.

My wife also views Wilford as competition, which leads to a nearly unending stream of gay jokes at my expense during a project.
