I agree, "Climb Baby climb, you can can do it!!!" Not something I would feel comfortable yelling to a boy.My CJ is a girl for sure. My 4x4 Truck is one too.
It just wouldn't feel right to me sweet talkin my rig the way I do if it was a boy.

LMAO! This thread is hilarious! My CJ5 is definitley a dude. It's a battle scared beast that is clearly the veteran of many trail battles - Which is why I am currently performing surgery on it...

- 1984 CJ 7 with rebuilt AMC 360/ 2 bbl. with Turbo 400 and Dana 20 transfer case (twin sticked). Dual red-top Optima's. Lokar shifter with rebuilt/modified tranny. Dual Flowmasters out the back.
1985 Dana 30 and 1986 CJ Dana 44 with 3.73's. Steering box brace. Central axle, tranny and transfer case breather box. Detroit locker (rear) and ARB (front). 35x 12.50-15 MT/R's on 15 x10 ION alum. simulated beadlocks.

Dad's jeep when he raced in the 70's. Cj2 running gear, ford 300 cu in 6 cyl with 3 deuces. Fiberglass model T body and hand laid fiberglass hood. welded 5.38 gears and beer keg fuel tank. see avatar

after installing new motor and tranny mounts I confirmed it's a boy. He BIT me!!

I have to go with my CJ is without question a Girl.
Nothing can inspire dreams of grandeur in a guy than a old Jeep and then thrash them so quickly. When in serviceable condition it is sweet to look at, unpredictable in running, illogical in engineering and at times makes you psychotic. If it is not in serviceable condition just go directly to psychotic("loss of contact with reality"). It will take you places you thought it would never go and baulk at what you thought was a sure bet or when you least expect it. When you think you have it’s number the game suddenly changes leaving you without a clue as to why. Jeeps require a lot of attention and cash to keep things running close to smoothly. So CJs by nature must be female in nature. Hail to all CJs.
Note: If the CJ is owned by a woman its male, ask the woman owner.

Yeah the old girl has an interesting color green ...actually several greens if you look that closely. Eventually it will be repainted close to the same color she is right now. But what color is that, it's close to Grabber green but 'NOT", there is some similarity to Kawasaki Racing green, but "NOT", Truly Nolen ( an exterminating company) paints his cars a similat green and one of the Prius dominated cab companies has a similar green ... none of them are completely right, but one is going to be close enough. I know one thing, a lot of weman like it, exactly why I don't know.

Maybe the Prius color will get you that extra MPG your looking for.
