1983 cj7 , six cylinders , 5 speed , 2.5 inch skyjacker suspension lift , 2 inch body , 35 x 12.50 x 15's ,one piece axles , just bought this cj after PO stored for the past 25 yrs ,
Put the CJ up for 6 months of hibernation. The older I get the more I hate winters. Last one out of Michigan shut the lights off.:pissed::censored::mad:

I love winter and so does my jeep. I can't wait for a storm so bad no one can get out unless they have 36 inch mudders.

Believe it or not some of us like the four seasons, I know I do.

A retired buddy of mine actually spends most of the winter at his house in Wyoming because there is more snow there than here in Minnesota and he loves snowmobiling.

Nice Dave! What do run for a heater in that thing? Lots of clothing?
Last weekend I was wheeling in Panamint valley running the bikini top in 85 degree weather. :D

Much rather jeep topless than in insulated underwear
yep...I keep the tops on my 91 wrangler and 89 bronco, but, both my CJ7 's go naked year round..There are a few days when I leave them parked but not many.I am 50 miles from Florida in south Georgia

Just the stock heater. Not too warm so yes, I wear lots of clothing. I ride my cycle if it's over 32°. People say it's crazy to ride a cycle when the temp in in the 30's.

Then those same people don't hesitate to ride a snowmobile when it's much colder than that.

Just dress for the weather. I wouldn't want to live anywhere that doesn't have all four seasons. :D

Yep, it's ideal weather in Georgia right now. Loving the sun & cool breeze...

I agree.^^
Oh yea, today it was in the high 20's with ice falling since 2 o'clock or so
had a fun drive home from work. Had to use 4wd in the truck to keep from fishtailing all over the place.:D

Up here in the San Bernardino mountains winter just means it's time to help each other switch from bikini tops to hard tops:drool:....Helps keep the snow off the seats, hands warm, winter survival equipment replaces summer stuff and renewed right foot control:D

I would drive mine in the winter but its never seen salt and never will. They use a ton of salt up here in Northern Michigan.

My CJ is all covered with ice and sleet right now. I have not left the house but once to walk down the street and watch the limbs brake off the trees, great fun!! I HATE the cold and don't have any use for snow, ice on the street, sleet and weather below 60 deg F. i am glad some people like it, If everybody felt like me there would be no one living above the Rio Grande.:D
