Its a SAD day !!!!

Its a SAD day !!!!
Out here in the Pacific Northwest if we don’t drive our jeeps in inclement weather they don’t get used but 3 months out of the year. I’ve told the story before where I was driving a 1972 CJ5 soft top through the Columbia River Gorge in a snow storm while having to use an ice scraper to remove the ice from the inside of the windshield as I rolled down the road; it was snowing almost as hard inside the jeep as the outside. Bundle up and go!

I HATE the cold and don't have any use for snow, ice on the street, sleet and weather below 60 deg:D

:agree: Could not have said it any better

I used to love going on snow runs with the Jeep club, The CJ usually kept pretty clean also. I guess my blood has just thinned out over the years. Fortunately, the lower SoCal desert is pretty good during the winter months.

The older I get, the more I hate winter, but I use it as a time to hang out in my heated garage, and do some upgrades on my jeep, so it doesn't have to be down in the summer. Ohio is just the cards I was dealt in life. Yes it's true, that nobody retires and moves up north to live.:D

I certainly enjoy 4 seasons, no question; but my issue is having freezing :censored: weather and no snow. Winter without snow is basically a void between seasons. Spring, summer and fall all have their own personalities; but a snowless winter is as close to a "nothing" season as you can imagine and thus a waste of months. It's that emptiness that drives people south.

In the winter the SoCal desert is packed with motorhome and trailer camps with the snowbirds from the north.
