As the new owner of a CJ, I'm learning to really appeciate the true bolt-on pieces. Unlike many here I'm not a mechanic...but I hope to pick some things up along the way. I try to do my research and get the pieces I like that are made for my application so I don't have to jerry rig it. With that said...

:notworthy:A huge atta boy to Olympic. Their basher bumper came in well protected, went together easily, and bolted right on...and it looks awesome! KC Hitites are also awesome. My Crown grill overlay was well done too. I'll gladly purchase more items from these guys in the future.

:mad:On the other side, Rugged Ridge stuff has been a pain in my rear (light mounts and bumperettes, and shifter boots). I'll avoid this vendor from now on and gladly pay more for a better item that goes on quickly.

Anybody else have bests and worsts? Thanks.

RR gets a lot of bad vibes throught the net... :(

You said your not a mechanic, :) you own a CJ - you will be!

Glad you like the Olympic products. Eric is a good friend, he took the company over from his father and unlike a lot of second generation owners, really does care about his product and customers. Plus he supports access issues which makes hm all that much better in my realm.
Here is a bit of info you all may find amazing, you know that chrome grab handle on the dash of almost every Jeep out there? that was Olympics first product and got so popular it became a factory option.

That's nice to know about Olympic.Rugged Ridge I have to agree has problems with their products.I'm 3 for 3 with them.Especially on 500 bucks worth of seats that didn't fit or would they take back. You can never talk to RR its always thru the vendor, they do the talking to RR and get back to you.I think if I could have talked to to RR I might have settled it.
