Left key on to charge phone and now jeep won't crank

Jeep has been running fine, shut it off and turned key back on to charge my phone, went to crank back up hour later and will not start. It will turn over good but won't start. Have replaced ignition control module and coil pickup under distributor. Have 12 VoLts to coil and no spark from coil. Tried another coil and still no spark, where should I look now ? Thanks

Why didn't you turn the key counter-clockwise to 'accessory' for the phone chg?
CHG the starter battery now.
Me thinks You have a defective ICM or dizzy module.
Hope you disconnected the battery POS(+)before you replaced these components.
Who made these replacements. Best source is NAPA. Don't go the cheap here.
Also-If you have the horseshoe connector on the coil. That is a well known problem area for conductivity issues.

Yeah, like Lumpy says those slip on coil connectors are known for making a weak and poor connection. You could get the icm and pick up coil checked to see if either is any good so you can use them as spares. The Echlin brand from N.A.P.A. is an excellent quality.
