Let me know what you guys think!!

looks good..I like the AMC 304 and the 3 speed in my opinion was much better than the later 4 and 5 speeds..it's out of my price range but to you and in your area that might be different

I got him down to $4600. Not a spot of rust ... Az jeep.
I know there are adv. and disadvantages to a 75, but I am excited!!

no rust, everything working and those new bfg's all add to the value a lot..when you can buy one that you don't immediately have to start spending money on,that's a big plus

You don't have it yet? You better act fast before someone beats you to it good deals don't last long.

The jeep looks good with the exception of the missing emissions components in the engine compartment. It might be an optical elusion but the breather tube from the oil fill tube appears to be routed to the ? heater hose outlet in the water pump. It probably is just hanging there, but it should be attached to the air filter. The stub out can be seen in the picture.

Frame cracking? 1972 to 1975 CJs have a C-channel frame that is prone to cracks, in particular just behind the engine mounts. A cracked frame isn’t the end of the world but bad patches by POs can be troublesome.

Take a look underneath to check the frame for rock and cracks. Look for PO patches as stated. If you are looking for a good jeep and everything checks out i think 4600 is a very good price.

Congrats on the new Jeep :chug:

Thanks, guys. I'm deal is done. Picking it up on sat. Morn.

It looks nice!
I've been shopping Craig s List all over the country too.

Will you be driving it from AZ to CT?

No, I will have it transported. Wanted to get an az jeep (All of my family is there) because I had a better chance of it being rust free. I have a buddy who is going to do some engine work in it first and then transport it out.

Nice! I wish I'd looked a little harder before buying my Jeep. I live in Arizona, but ended up getting a Jeep that spent a good deal of it's life in Colorado and have paid the price. It looks like you have a great starter for what ever you want your final Jeep to be.

Congrats !!! Looks nice and a great price.A '75 would be my first choice in that group (72-75) .I wouldn't sweat any of the negative comments as anything on a jeep can be repaired or replaced. Enjoy. mike s.
