Liftgate frame

My liftgate frame is starting to give up. The metal around the hinges is warping & does not seal up properly.
I have looked for replacement frames with no luck. Do any of you guy's know where I can find a replacement while I am fixing the original one.

After market frames are available in fiberglass. Problem is they cost around $400. If you have the ability to fix yours I do it in a more timely fashion and save the cash. Its hard to find a good used one at least in my area.

Thanks, I guess I'll just keep my eye's open for a used one to get through the winter or drive my 9 mpg truck while fixing mine.
