if anybody can notice the little black pin stripe on this wheel in the picture, where could i possibly get those? ive looked far and wide and cant find that little piece if pin striping. does anybody know where to get them?? any piece of information would be greatly appreciated!!

You may try a local car show. Te ones that I have been to locally usually have a pin stripper and they could do this for you. These guys usually drag a wooden box of materials around the show looking for work.
Not sure but I would expect that you would simply raise that wheel and let the stripper (or you) spin the wheel so that he could get the job done.
good luck.:driving:

i have seen the material for pinstriping rims at some motorcycle shops.. it usually runs $10- $15 for a roll of the material and the tool so you have the perfect line.. works really well and has a strong hold.. used it on my old street bike. so if you can find any motorsports stores around you i would suggest checking there.

I am currently in the process of restoring my 1978 CJ5 Golden Eagle and I just finished sand blasting the rims today.

I ordered the wheel paint from Paintscratch.com (Corsican Poly Gold) and was just going to use a black paint pen for the pin striping so I can protect all of it with a layer of clear coat.

If you do it yourself you can save yourself a lot of money and wait time....only problem is it takes a lot of patiences to make a straight line (or circle in this case) but its well worth it.
