Used my harbor freight 20 ton press and a $35 die punch from E bay to make a double D hole suitable for a cabinet lock, locking switch or even hood pin locks. This is in 16 ga aluminum. there is a knock out punch that makes this hole but it costs 4 or $500. Can you believe that, $500 for a knockout punch? Anyway, I call this a win.:D
 
Cool! Pretty hard to justify $500 unless you're making holes all day long.

Not like you want to a bunch on a CJ. But cool. 👍

I just found a local guy with a water jet in his garage and is very reasonable.

Just a thought. 💬
 
A water jet would be a bit of an overkill for this but knowing some one who has access/owns one is way cool.:cool:
