It's probably not as bad as I made it sound. Front floor pans need replaced and square panels under the roll bar. I'll keep looking for sure but if I don't find anything by New Years this will be the one

because now that you've claimed it on here publicly, no member wants to post that they grabbed it from under you and get permanently banned from this site. They'd get flamed no matter where they went as the A-hole who took Pete's ride....:p
 
I don't think I'd ban them that long. :laugh: honestly if anyone wants to contact Jim go right ahead. I can give you his number..:)

I hope so. Im kicking around ideas but I believe I have a pretty solid plan for it already. Odds are the engine thats in it has some rust from sitting so long. I wanted something a bit more fuel efficent anyway cause we'll be taking longer trips in when its done. Once I get it here I'll be looking for a 4.0 to put in front of the T-5 till I get the SM465 built. A 4 inch lift with 33s along with the rear bumper tire carrier I have should round it out nicely.

Arent these pics of an 8 you've already looked at? I've seen this 8 before and I dont think its because its close to me either :p
 
Yes I did. Then I was out of work for awhile cause of my knee so the deal fell through. Someone else was supposed to buy it then so I looked elsewhere and found a rusty runner. Then the other guy didn't finalize the sale on the above one. When I factored in the cost of a welder it brought me back to this one. I was pleasantly surprised it was still available

LOL I was thinking the same when I saw that pic with the clothes line behind it.

There's a 90% rust free Scrambler in those pics and you guys are looking at out buildings and wash lines. For shame. :rolleyes: :D
