I have a CJ5 and a 12v ARB onboard air compressor. Looking for some ideas of where to mount a tank and the compressor.

Anyone have any issues putting the compressor under the hood?
 
How about under the battery tray? It's pretty much just wasted space... :)
 
Under the hood is a common location. As for the air tank a 1.5 - 2 gal will tuck up under the body. Just remember to keep the lines tucked up outa the way.

Ahh - didn't think bout that - I only have used in frame headers...

Brock's plan works also.

Yea, maybe I’ll make a heat shield.

Yep rear seat is a must or the brat can’t come hahah.
