lower steering shaft replacement ?

I have a new lower streering shaft that I plan to install.... Is this pretty basic install? (Manual steering).

Are you talking about the shaft from the column to the gear box? It's just a bolt off and a bolt on... The lower part does have a weird clip.

Where did you get the new shaft? Most aftermarket shafts come with pretty specific instructions.

2 different things.Drive shaft connects the Transmission to the drive axle.Steering shaft connects the steering wheel to the steering gear and turns the wheels left and right.
