MDS and a tach

The previous owner of my new CJ had installed an MDS ignition system and also informed me that there is an issues with the tach. I am now hearing that the tach doesn't work as there is an issue with the communication between MDS and tachometers. Does anyone know how to get the stock tach to show engine speed in this scenerio?

Probably need a tach adapter. I just might know someone that has one for sale...

my msd box has a wire coming out of it that goes right to the tach. i have never had a problem with it. but i have a aftermarket tach.

Why not go to MSD.com and look up the manual for the MSD box you have ? The manual will give you the instructions on how to make it work.
