Meyers Hardtop Rack???

Just curious if anyone here has put a roof rack onto a Meyers Hardtop?

My plan is to make a rack that transfers from the hard top in cold weather to some roll bar mounts when it gets warm.

I don't like the mounting bars all over the place that I've seen with most options.

Any ideas?

Are you asking about the CJ2a or CJ5 ?

I can't think of putting much weight on top, they handle so much better without the top anyway. I ditched my hardtop after 5 years of soft top in the summer. Put an aux heater in and you won't look back!

IOPort51, I've got two future Jeepers and a dog that I take camping during the summer and then up for deer camp when the snow hits. So I'm thinking light gear, less than 150lbs.


73CJ, it's for the CJ5 . I know soft top is the way to go but the Meyers is kinda growing on me. I thought as long as I have it I might as well make it look cool.
