I'm a new member here and just finished having
a challenging last week in getting some work done on the CJ.
She was in need of what I thought was a rebuilt carburetor, but ended up needing a new accelerator pump. Also got a new brake master cylinder, so that put an end to all the brake fluid
leaking into the interior of the jeep and eating up my Line-X for a 2nd time!!
Changed the oil and oil filter.
And then did a dumb thing and hit the brake pedal upward while cleaning up the old Line_X on the driver's side which caused the brake light switch to pop out and have the brake lights remain on!! arrgh
I did some research and ended up having the switch zip tied to stay in place.
Back to normal with the jeep
and I treated the CJ to a nice wash and polish done by me. Well deserved and she gets a day off from driving and being worked on.
