Month and year manufacture

Hello

My first question in this forum is about the date of manufacture.

How Can I find out about my 86 CJ7 date of manufacture???

How can I know the first date the Jeep had a title???

I know that my VIN number shows it,s a 1986 Jeep but I need to know when the car was manufactured cause it probably was manfactured on 1985.

I have called to Chrysler-Jeep cop. to see if they have information from those years but they don,t.

My actual title shows the date the Jeep was transfered from the first owner to second owner.If I get the first datethe Jeep had a title , that would help too.

If someone knows anything that can help please let me know.Thank you

Does your Jeep still have the vehicle certification label?

This Grand Cherokee was built in Jan. 1996. "DATE OF MFR 1-96 C"
In the lower left it says it was built at 3:00 PM. "MDH:010615"
MDH = Month, Day, Hour
01 = Jan.
06 = 6th
15 = 3:00 PM

Well, yes it does.

Actually it does have a old certificate label.It,s really unreadable but I can guess it shows "AUG 1985" or something like that.

it,s in a really bad condition.

The point here is that I need to demostrate to Spanish traffic department that this car is already 25 years old.

If the car is 25 years old the law here says that we are talkin abot an Historic car so I,m able to get the papers right to drive it in Europe.

Since my jeep papers only show that it,s a 1986 Jeep , they tell me they consider that the Jeep will be for sure 25 yeras old on January 1st 2012 and never before.Un less I demostrate with any kind of paper that it,s already 25 years old.

If I can not demostrate that, I will have to wait 2 months and a half to drive my Jeep.it,s not too bad but I would prefer to drive it tomorow
